Eller Beck, Beck Hole, North Yorkshire Moors

Location/Access: Footpath from the village, starts at the bridge and runs alongside both the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Eller Beck. Often sheep graze along the footpath.

Grid Ref: NZ 826 021

Ordnance Survey Map: Explorer Map Sheet OL27

Source: Eller Beck

Height: Approximately 10 feet

Description:

This cascade is one of the most beautiful on the North Yorkshire Moors, particularly in autumn when the leaves are falling to the ground. I was struck by the immense colours combined with the whites of the water as it flows towards the village. This fall is just 100 metres or so below Thomasson Foss and is accessed by the same footpath.
